No longer on a post bike, but still riding…

Not much to say really. Now 31, born in the centre of England near a place called Mansfield. Dad a miner, mum a receptionist. Didn’t do so well at A Levels, did better at college, did well at Uni and then finally went on to do a Masters in Business, which wasn’t put to good use, me deciding to disappear to Australia at the age of 26 where I worked on a car magazine called MOTOR. There I met a girl, things got good, things got bad, and strangely after all that¬† I ended up riding poor old Dorothy across the world.

What now I really don’t know, still trying to figure that one out. Though if you want to see what a trip like this does to you, check out the before and after pics.¬† Not pretty I know…

  1. Hi I just finished reading your book, which I got at at x-library book sale. When I saw the book I immediately picked it up, flicked through the photos and brought it. I have really enjoyed reading your book it’s well written and honest. I also liked how you referred to Dorothy like a travel companion, as a friend. Such a great achievement and a fun adventure to go on, I admire your courage. I have travelled a bit to and enjoyed reading about countries that I had been and other ones that I haven’t but sounded interesting. Thank you for a great read!!!
