Enjoying the stories so far mate, hope you're holding together well – despite the sore arse (which, if the LCC stories are true, you should be used to).
Maybe you could email people a very quick note and link to this website each time you make an update? it'll help with boosting the traffic.
Good luck

Yeah good idea Mr B. I think when the site's all up and running I'll send everyone a begging letter asking for visitors to the website and maybe a bit of sponsorship. My brother's kindly set the target high at 50,000 quid. Right-o
All good here. I've put some more vids and pics up on facebook but struggling to upload it to this site. Just in Mount Isa excited to hear the road west is open. Gonna leave in the morning with my rain mac on.

I've never heard the stories from the LCC. but Id venture a guess that they are true. What's with you and your ass boy?
Ride well babe. Wish I was on the handlebars!

Hiya. My friend sent me a link to your site – I'll pass it about so you hopefully get some more traffic. You are obviously a complete nutter, but you're doing something totally wicked, so good luck! x

Hey.
Found this on the Adventure Rider forums… on which I am only a lurker.
You are a legend. Heh heh just thought that needed to be said.
Remember Katherine? About 320km below Darwin? Home The roads around here would have been a little tedious at 65km/h…
Good to hear you have found your keys – push on mate!

You have earned a bit of a following in the US. A group of us on a Toyota Landcruiser forum (IH8Mud) all with 70s, 90's and 110's discovered your page and you have become a topic for us.
We are all wishing you safe travels!

Your story has made it to Canada. What a crazy trip!! I do more planning for a 200 km overnighter ride.
Be safe…and why stop at London? Why not make a detour to the Americas?

Glad you are feeling better! Hang in there. Keep your eye on the prize. I would think this may not be something you will ever get to do again so enjoy every moment! Posting all the pics and videos is fantasic…certainly a making of an adventure book.
If you get a chance, read “Who Needs a Road” by Harold Stephens and Albert Podell. You are in the comapny of a few real men

Love it. Got to say I'm a fan of the Charley and Ewan adventures, but to see someone do this without a squillion pound budget, without a camera man, a support team, and without a private entourage; it's simply awe inspiring. Go hard!

Great to see you're back on the air. I was starting to think you had thrown it all in and sold Dot and jumped a plane. As a thrillseeking armchair adventurer, I am following your journey with more than a casual interest. You're doing stuff like I dreamed of doing but never did. Onya mate, you are an inspiration.

We are still rooting for you on IH8MUD! Sorry about the mechanical issues but it is no wonder! You have been putting Dot through her paces. Cheers.

Greetings Nathan and Dot,
I regret not having posted more encouragement over the course of this epic trip, as checking on your progress has been an ongoing entertainment and inspiration. Your sometimes quirky reports, and the videos with their revealing ad-lib comments have been great – amazing that you managed to keep them coming, considering some of the places you passed through, places where I imagine just keeping batteries charged would have been a challenge! Hope you are able to publish your adventure in book form, it will be on my bookshelf if you do.
Just watched the recently posted video of your “preparation” (preparation!?!) and departure from Sydney and I reckon that anyone seeing that without knowing how far you have got would have to think that you would not make Darwin, let alone Europe – just shows what dogged determination will do. It's that type of pluck that made the British Empire what it is today
Best wishes for the final home leg, guess you will be looking forward to a decent cuppa and catching up on Coronation Street. Nurse Dot along those final kilometers (no speeding on the autobahns) and give her new main bearings when you get home so she'll be right for the return journey.
Sorry to rave on, but what you've achieved calls for more than just a lower case “Good on ya mate”, no, it needs to be said in capitals and a larger font – “GOOD ON YA MATE”.
Cheers,
Bernard (NZ)
