I’ve been quiet on here for a long while, mainly because I’ve been working to pay off debts from the first trip and also because I’ve been busy over what is now almost the last 2 years trying to finish the second book; and finally, it’s ready and has just gone to print.
It’s titled Running Towards the Light (Postcards from Alaska) and is about my journey on the same old Honda CT110 from New York to Alaska. It was a journey of around 6000 miles, lasting almost 3 months in total, travelling through Detroit, Chicago, along Route 66, over the Rockies, though Monument Valley, Las Vegas and Death Valley, to San Francisco then straight up the west coast to Alaska.
The book is 285 pages long, includes 24 pages of colour images and should be back from the printer’s and posted out by mid-late November. This time I’m completely self published so have set up a pre-order system to help me get it off the ground and pay for the initial print run.
If anyone would like to receive one of the first copies off the press; numbered, signed and hand posted, then please click on the link below.
I hope you like it.
